Shamrocks
My friend Prissy gave me a Shamrock plant. My first ever. It is so beautiful and just keeps giving little blooms. Some of the leaves are variegated.

I'M LOOKING GOOD!
Miss Ella, I can finally say I am among the good looking Springers again.
My folks kept putting off bathing and grooming me.... Agressive- who's agggressive?... That's the excuse I kept hearing. Anyway, I feel like a million in my new doo. Glad they got around to it now considering it will be 90 degrees today! Well, just wanted to share.

GILBERT RIPARIAN PRESERVE
We recently went to the Gilbert Riparian Preserve. We spent three hours walking the preserve. It is several acres with seven ponds loaded with different species of geese,egrets, herons, ducks, wading birds, etc. Not to mention the hawks, hummingbirds, sparrows, goldfinch, thrashers and towhees on the wing There are paths to walk the entire way around each pond. There are trees and bushes lining the paths all the way around. There are different sites for photos or benches to sit on to rest. Along the preserve is a public library and a lake you can fish in - saw several turtles in the lake also.

Funny British Animal Voiceovers
This is hysterical. The wee scene is a hoot. Love the Michael Jackson. I laughed so hard when my friend sent this to me that the dog came running and was concerned for me. ROF LOL Enjoy!

LATEST PROJECTS
Some of the latest projects I have worked on. Hope to get in the sewing room today!
My friend Betsy taught me how to crochet the Cocoon Yarn Scarfs. So much fun!
Sometime ago I bought one of the mini quilt hangers. I finally got around to making something to hang from it. I also made a small wall hanging.
I also made a mesh bag with an embroidery panel on it for our Doctor's Nurse. She is always so efficient and fast to respond to us that I thought I would make her a little tote as a thank you.

I made a zipper pin. I first saw a zipper pin at the Phoenix Art Museum's Gift Shop. It was selling for $95. I know mine is not quite the same but it cost just 22 cents. I was so excited to have made something unusual. Then I found out the pins are in Nancy's Notions - Bernina is teaching a class, etc etc. Oh well, every person will have their own original.

QUILTING DIVAS
The Quilting Divas is a group of ladies I meet with to make items for different children charities and needs.
We are ten ladies who have a crazy time together while making our projects. We have made fleece blankets, fleece pillows and teddy bears with knitted outfits for Ryan's Place, Cardon Childrens Hospital, and the school for the homeless. We have made drawstring bags for a domestic violence shelter and decorated flip flops for the homeless school children.
