Happy Birthday Priscilla

My dear friend Priscilla turned 90 years old two weeks ago.   We had a grand party to celebrate. Prissy may be 90 but sharp as a tack and with great wit.  It was so nice to have a  night to honor her.

There was light fare and beverages, and  very nice weather outside for the evening event.   Prissy had picked out music from each of her nine decades....Tom put it all on an Ipod for great listening and dancing music.  Even some of her favorite Eric Clapton tunes.

 This vase of flowers was sent to Prissy from friends to celebrate her big day.  The vase alone was over 2 feet high.  Each rose was about 3-4 inches high.  Just a fabulous arrangement.

Such a lovely lady.  I am so glad she is my friend.

Catching Up

I know it has been so long since my mom posted.... Says she has been busy.. Come to think of it she has been gone a lot.... something about a friend's party and sewing and appointments and fun I am sure.

Anyhoo - thought I would update things a little and show you some of my Summer/Fall fun.

That's me enjoying the great coolness of Prescott.    My friend's couch was so comfy for my nap.
This cabin was very dog friendly. They had everything I needed - chain for  keeping me on the porch, dog bowls for food and water, dog bed, comfy couches and they even left their chew bones on the floor for me.   Now that's real hospitality!

My latest trip to cooler country was a few weeks ago. Another nice friend let us stay at her cabin.  I was keeping my Dad company....  Really enjoyed my time... Can't you tell.
