Glendale Summer Band Concerts

The City of Glendale has free band concerts each Thursday evening in June and July.  It is in the amphitheater in downtown Glendale.  You must get there early for a place to put your chair or blanket.  The concert starts at 8 pm and lasts about 1 1/2 hours.  The band is made up  of over 100 people with a range of  ages 12 - 80yrs. They play such fun oldies, marches and current music also.   We usually go around 6:30 and eat dinner in our chairs - something we pick up on the way.  Even when the days get warm the nights can be very enjoyable  especially with a breeze like we had last week.   It is fun  for any age.
